I- CONFLICTS OF LAW

Our team is trained to resolve matters pertaining to conflicts of law in a large array of subjects; from international adoption, immigration, travel / working / residence visas, and refuge seeking, to international contracts, real property law and doing business in Brazil and MERCOSUL. This, of course, includes private international law dispute resolution.

II- CONTRACT

Upon request, our office may draft all kinds of contracts and advise on remedies for breach of contract, contract abuse and conditions and warranties.

III- TORT

We advise consumers that were victims of trespassing, assault and negligence. This also includes business torts (unfair business practices) and cases where individuals have been somehow harmed by the state.

All of our lawyers are trained to advise in arbitration and mediation as well. VIII- PUBLIC FINANCE

Our public finance group addresses questions relating to the financial activities of government and public sector organizations. While infrastructure deals and foreign investments in Brazil are our team’s main focus, we also offer legal opinions to addressing factors that may affect our clients’ interests.

X- ENERGY

We advise clients on specific regulatory matters relating to energy and natural gas sector, negotiated and tendered conventional and non-conventional power project agreements (including thermal, hydro, solar, wind work); and project development.

XI- IP LAW

Our work includes registration, assignment and protection of trade marks; import and export of patents and designs, prosecution and defending infringement matters pertaining to design, patent, copyright registration and misuse of information. In addition to consultancy on Brazilian Intellectual Property Law, we also offer our clients consultancy on MERCOSUL matters.
